WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you have booked a paranormal investigation, then no refunds or transfer to another date will be permitted.
Cancellations received in writing for a walking tour via our website, email or message 48 hours or more before commencement of your booking can either defer the date of your tour, depending on availability. Or you can receive a refund in full.
​​If you have booked a Taxibus Tour, no refunds will be issued, but with 48 hours or more notice, we can transfer your booking to another date.

If your booking is made on a third party website, then their cancellation policies will apply.
Bookings cancelled by us due to severe weather, illness or any other reason, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date for your tour.
Private bookings must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of 10%.
If you cancel your private tour booking :
With more than 7 days notice. You will forgo your 10% booking deposit.
With less than 7 days notice. You will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of your overall booking.
With less than 48 hours notice. You will be charged a cancellation fee of your full booking price.
DO YOU HOLD PRIVATE TOURS?
Absolutely!! If you are disappointed that one of our tours aren't being held on a date that you had hoped, or you have a group that would like to attend. As long as you have a minimum of 4 people attending; and Carrickfergus Castle are available ( if its the walking tour) we will do our best to accommodate you! Please get in touch!

WHERE DO WE MEET OUR TOUR GUIDE?
Please view the individual pages for meeting points. And you will receive an email 2 days prior to your tour with full information.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
If they are 12 or over - yes!
If they are under 12 - no...the witches will eat them.
We recommend those attending are 12 + due to the content, but we will leave it to the parents/guardians discretion.
Our paranormal investigations are STRICTLY for those 18 years and over!
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Only guide / support dogs are permitted on our tour.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable footwear. And bring an umbrella. As beautiful as Northern Ireland is, it isn't known for its generous amounts of sunshine.
​You may also wish to bring a bottle of water/juice, as our refreshments are served at the end of the tour (walking tour).
Please also bring proof of your online booking. This will be your booking confirmation email, no tickets are issued. Proof of booking does not need to be printed.
If attending one of our paranormal events, please wear something warm.

DO I NEED TO PRE BOOK?
Yes, we only take bookings and pre payments online, unless otherwise agreed with ourselves, as we have a maximum amount of spaces available on our walking and bus tours and investigations.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE?
Please be there at your allocated time, as our tours start promptly.
If you are running late, please ring or text us, and we will advise you of your options.
Should you be too late to join the tour, no refund or transfer will be issued.
We accept no responsibility for you missing your tour.
Terms & Conditions
On placing a booking with us you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Please take a moment to read them.
We reserve the right to change, update or amend without prior notice.
Where “we”, “us” and “our” are used, this refers to the staff and management and company of Haunted tours N.I.
Where “you” or “your” is used, this refers to the person/s that placed the booking and are participating in our tour
BOOKINGS
To attend one of our tours, you must be able to provide proof of a valid booking. You will not be issued ticket (s), your confirmation email of your booking will suffice. It does not need to be printed.
Bookings must be made and paid for in advance, unless otherwise agreed by our tour manager via email or phone.
It is your responsibility that you provide a current working email address, and that if you do not receive your booking confirmation within 24 hours, that you get in touch with us to have it resent, or issued in an alternative way.
We accept no liability for any modification, price change or discontinuation of services.
We do not accept any responsibility if you miss the start of your tour due to arriving late, getting lost or otherwise.
We will not be able to offer a refund, but depending on circumstances, you may be able to join the tour at a later time (this only applies to walking tours)

We do not accept any responsibility , nor can we offer a refund, if you purchase a ticket for the wrong time, date or tour.
However, we will endeavour to try and accommodate you on another tour if availability permits.
Please allow additional time for your tour, as end times are approximate. We accept no responsibility for any loss or inconvenience due to a tour starting later than scheduled, or taking longer than planned. We recommend you leave at least a 30 minute allowance before making further bookings for after your tour.
COPYRIGHT
You agree not to record any part of the tour, including the story of the Islandmagee witches (of which the historical facts and research remains the ownership of Dr Andrew Sneddon of the University of Ulster) due to copyright infringement. Anyone doing so without prior permission, will be asked to leave the tour, and will not be entitled to a refund.
Photographs are however permitted.
The content on our website, and during our tour, including images, are owned and copyrighted by Haunted Tours N.I.
ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR AND LIABILITY
If you are asked to leave the tour,/investigation, or refused participation, due to anti-social behaviour , not respecting any of the venues, staff or equipment, then you will forgo your booking, and are not entitled to a refund.
This will be at the discretion of our tour guide.
You will also be required to comply with any terms or conditions or health and safety Carrickfergus castle, and any other establishment we visit, may enforce.
When you place a booking with us, any intentional damage or loss caused to any equipment, taxibus, and/or property, must be paid for by the person(s) responsible
Full payment for any such loss or damage must be paid on the day the incident occurred, to our staff.
Failure to do so will result in you being held responsible for meeting any claims and legal costs subsequently made against us as a result of your action.

If you are attending one of our paranormal investigations, or taxi bus tours, you may be asked to sign a waiver. Should you wish to obtain a copy of this for your own records, please send us an email, and one will be forwarded to you.
We are not responsible or liable for any accident, injury, loss or damage that occurs on any part of our tours at any stage , now or in the future. Including when you fail to follow our safety advice and recommendations.
This includes any accident and/or injury that occurs during a walking tour, taxi bus tour, or paranormal investigations. No claim can be made against us, Haunted Tours NI, at any stage. Or request for legal fees. You acknowledge this, and agree to these terms and conditions, when you place a booking.

Any personal property is brought on tour at your own risk, and we won't be held liable for any loss or damage.

​Gift vouchers can not be refunded or exchanged for monetary value.
PROMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Photographs may be taken throughout the tour by our tour guide for future promotional/advertisement purposes. Should you not wish to be included in any photographs, please make our guide aware.
PRIVACY POLICY
Should you subscribe on our website, your email address will be used for our future promotions and information only, and will not be forwarded to any 3rd parties.
You can unsubscribe at any time.
Your financial information will only be retained for the duration of your booking transaction, and be encrypted by our booking agent.

If your booking is for a paranormal event, then no refunds will be issued, nor the option to transfer to another event date offered, under any circumstances.

Bookings made on a third party website, such as viator, their cancellation policies will then apply.
Bookings cancelled by us due to severe weather, illness or any other reason, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date for your tour.
Private bookings must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of 10%.
If you cancel your private tour booking :
With more than 7 days notice. You will forgo your 10% booking deposit.
With less than 7 days notice. You will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of your overall booking.
With less than 48 hours notice. You will be charged a cancellation fee of your full booking price.
