Meet The Team
Hello my lovely. My name is Louise, and I am the owner of Haunted Tours NI.
I am a qualified tour guide, and taxi driver.
Though surprisingly if you'd have told me years ago I'd be tour guide, I'd have laughed at you, as the thought of public speaking terrified me.
It all started back in 2021. A friend asked me to buy her a book about the Islandmagee witches. When it arrived I read the back of the cover. Intrigued, I had a quick look... I lie, I read the whole thing, and then wrapped it up and gifted it to her. Don't tell her!
I'd spent the last 15 years raising my 2 disabled children by myself. Now they were reaching adulthood, it was time to do something for myself. And I got to thinking I've heard of the accused witches of Salem and Pendle, but not of the ones in my own country. No-one was doing tours on the subject, and the fact they weren't being talked about, or as well known, upset me.
So not really knowing where to start, I contacted the author of the factual book on the subject "Possessed by the Devil" to seek their permission to use their research, and Dr Sneddon kindly agreed. Everything then fell into place, and after more research, and a lot of writing, I held my first walking tour at the start of 2023. Since then I've been very blessed to have met many wonderful people and made new friends along the way.
I'm very passionate about what the Islandmagee witches, and others, endured, and get angered when I see those that decided to copy me not tell their story accurately.
They are not Irelands Salem; they are their own story!
My interest in the paranormal stems from the experiences myself, my family, and others had in my Christian childhood home, and this raised many questions. I personally think the best way to get an answer to something, is to search for it yourself.​
Though I'll always look for a logical explanation first. and class myself as a skeptical believer.
So in 2023 I decided to start a paranormal team with like minded people, so we could search for answers and learn together. And it's been awesome! We've visited so many amazing places, and met wonderful people. Then we thought there are many others out there would like to also get their own answers, but aren't sure where to start. So we started to host events for the public, that were affordable with no ouija board use or "summoning the devil etc" which have proved popular
So all in all ​I'm just a single mother that wants to bring history to life in a fun and interactive way. See if I can get my own answers regarding the afterlife. And get myself out of the house lol.
I love what I do, and feel very privileged and blessed to do so. I've been overwhelmed with the amount of support, never mind bookings, I have received.

I'm a true believer, but have a healthy skepticism where I try to debunk before saying it's definitely paranormal. I've been with the team from it was first established in 2023. I've enjoyed developing my knowledge of the paranormal during my time with the team.​
Hi everyone, my name is Emma. I'm 32. I've been a paranormal investigator for over a decade. And have had an interest in the paranormal from my late teens. I would have some mediumship abilities and am a true believer. I've been a member of the team since it was first established in 2023.

Hi there. my name is Sarah. I'm 45 years old. I would class myself as a skeptical believer.
I've had an interest in the strange and unexplained since I first picked my dad's copy of fortean times in the eighties.
​I've been with the team from it established in 2023. Although I don't have any natural psychic ability, I have enjoyed visiting many historical places and having new experiences with the team.
