Join us for our eerily exciting 2 hour ghost walk around the ghostly streets of  Carrickfergus. Be regaled of the stories of the lost souls in the area by your qualified cape wearing guide. And then use ghost hunting equipment to see if we can contact the wandering spirits of the area.

We'll stand in the shadows of the 800 year old Carrickfergus Castle, the site of where heads of the ill fated were once placed on spikes, the site of where hangings once took place, an unconventional burial site, and where the Islandmagee witches, and many others, faced their punishment.

Adults -  £16 pp

Young adult (15-18 years) - £14 pp

 

​The tour should last approximately 2 hours, though please allow additional time for any delays encountered. It will cover less than a mile of walking on mostly flat surfaces, and will be wheelchair friendly.

Please wear warm and sensible clothing, and bring an umbrella, as our tour will continue in all weathers. Also bring some water or juice.

Tour starts at 7.50pm from the front of Carrickfergus Castle.

 

HOW TO GET HERE:

BY CAR - Firstly make sure you've fuel , or you won't make it!

Carrickfergus Castle should be easily found on google maps or sat navs. The full address is Carrickfergus Castle, Marine Highway, Carrickfergus, BT38 7BG

Failing that, if you follow signs to Carrickfergus, the entrance to the car park adjacent to the castle is just off the roundabout beside Sainsburys. If there are no spaces available in this car park, the are car parks further along the road. Turn left at the traffic lights to Joymount.

Parking fees may need to be paid in this car park. Please check.

​BY TRAIN - There is a train station in Carrickfergus, and it is only a 0.3 mile/

5 minute walk to our meeting place. Check translink.co.uk and select the Larne line for times.

BY BUS - If you get off at the Joymount stop, then Carrickfergus Castle is just across the road. If you cannot see the castle, or the sea, you're facing the wrong way - turn around.
